Salty and slightly sweet, il Giardino^® Ricotta Salata Cheese is distinctly different from cow’s milk Italian ricotta cheese. Made of sheep’s milk, this firm, white cheese is derived from slightly salted curd and used for grating or shaving. Ricotta Salata Cheese has a milder, less salty flavor than Pecorino Romano Cheese and adds great flavor to salads.
